We recommend Deb to anyone who is looking for a great dog trainer. She clearly loves dogs, and will treat both you and your dog with respect. Moreover, as in the case with our Standard Poodle puppy, she will coach you and teach you how to become the leader your dog needs, so that your dog will be a happy and well-behaved member of your household. It is a pleasure to have the dog after returning from a two week boot camp. Never pulls on a walk, always heels and goes to place when it’s our mealtime. If you want a well behaved dog trained in a loving environment, Deb is the best.
Deb has also provided invaluable insight into the way dogs think and what motivates them to do the things they do. She is also a great source of information o how to keep our dog healthy and happy, and we know we can trust her advice. And, Deb is always just a phone call or email away to help with follow up questions or concerns. Deb is a very pleasant, dependable and knowledgeable trainer, who truly cares about her clients. She is both a dog and dog owner’s best friend! We know our dog is very glad we found Deb and so are we!

What a difference two weeks makes!!!

Thanks to Deb we have a totally different, Obedient dog now. Our American Bulldog, Kong was such a handful. He tore up anything he could get his mouth on, jumped on you when coming in the door, walking was a struggle, and he just didn’t listen at all. We are very grateful for Ann’s referral to Deb. Deb has gone above and beyond to help us with Kong with home visits, daily emails, texts and videos while he was in her care. We were kept in the loop daily on his status.

We chose to do a Board and Train for two weeks with Deb and we are so glad we did. Kong listens now, stays when told to, and we can even take him for a nice calm walk. We felt safe with Deb and knew that Kong was in good, caring hands. Her follow-up and post boarding instructions and care have really made it easy for us to stay on track with Kong. She has even stopped by a couple of times to give us a helping hand and a little refresher for us. Kong gets really excited to see Deb.

I cannot say enough good things about Deb. She is amazing and has done wonders with Kong.

My husband and I adopted our second German Shepherd, Axel, at the beginning of 2015. During our first month with Axel, it became apparent that he struggled with severe anxiety - incessant whining, fixation on other dogs while on walks, and distress while in his crate. He had no structure or discipline when it came to feeding time, and displayed aggression and anxiety in interacting with our female shepherd Mischa.

Deb was extremely generous with her time and resources, and made an intentional effort to get to know Axel, and understand his challenging and troubled background. Deb taught us how to advocate for Axel’s space, provide structure inside and outside of the home, and showed us how to effectively execute command training. Axel has learned his crate is a safe place, walks in the neighborhood have become a joy for all of us, and playtime between he and Mischa is uplifting to watch in the morning. We still use the tools and instruction that Deb has provided us on a daily basis, and Axel continues to grow as a result. Without Deb’s guidance and support, we likely would have struggled to integrate Axel into our home.

Deb is caring, authentic, transparent, and extremely intuitive and bright with these animals. In a word, she is marvelous!

"We have a German Shepard puppy who could not go on a calm and pleasant walk. All she wanted to do was pull, sniff and bark at other dogs.  We knew we needed help.  We also wanted to make sure she followed commands like place, stay, come.
We had encountered Deb Pollock at a park on one of our less than pleasant walks. She had the calmest German Shepard with her who was not phased by our dog approaching.  I decided to to ask how she "did that" and she told us she was a dog trainer. At that moment I knew she was the person who I wanted to work with our dog. We had Deb come to our house to assess our needs and goals and Bella started right away. We decided on 4 full days of training over a 14 day period.  She said this would work giving us time in between to practice and perfect what Bella had learned.  Each day Deb explained what she would be doing and when she brought Bella back home she would do a review with us and make sure we were clear on what we should be working on.

Overall Deb exceeded our expectations and even picked Bella up when my husband was unable to drive after surgery.
Bella is doing excellent with commands and continues to improve on her walks.

Bella was always excited to see Deb and even got excited when she heard Deb's voice on a video going to sit at the door to wait for her. We felt Deb cared about Bella as if she was her own dog which was comforting.
